Yes — you’ll need to obtain your marriage license from the county clerk before your ceremony. For weddings at the Adrift Hotel and Shelburne Hotel, please obtain a license from any county in Washington state. For weddings at the Bowline Hotel, please obtain a license from any county in Oregon. We handle the filing after the ceremony, so once you have your license in hand, we take care of the rest.

Each package includes a set of complimentary ceremony photos captured during your experience. These are documentary-style images to preserve your day. Prefer to have your own photographer present? You’re absolutely welcome to bring one — there’s no additional fee for that.

Yes! Pets are welcome at the ceremony and stay free when you book a room at a pet-friendly Adrift Hospitality property (Bowline Hotel and Adrift Hotel). The Coastal Courthouse package extends this perk to any pet-friendly Adrift property. We love a good ring bearer.

All packages include an optional, complimentary livestream of your ceremony so loved ones who can’t be there in person can still witness your moment. You’ll receive a recording afterward to keep and share. We’ll send you a private link to share with family and friends ahead of your date.

The Shelburne Soirée and Adrift Affair packages offer guest add-ons in increments of 8, up to 24 total. The Coastal Courthouse package is designed for just the couple (with children welcome), and the Bowline Bliss package includes up to 8 guests with no expansion option. If you need a larger guest list, Adrift Affair can host up to 72 guests (additional fee applies).

The Mini-Reception adds a celebratory moment right after your ceremony. For the Coastal Courthouse package (+$175), that’s a reserved table for two, a bottle of CHO Bubbles, and a 6-inch cake. For the 60-minute packages (+$350), it extends your experience by 30 minutes with a glass of bubbly for all guests and a 9-inch cake. A sweet ending to a perfect day.

All venues are part of the Adrift Hospitality collection on the Pacific Northwest coast. The Bowline Hotel is located on the Columbia River in Astoria, OR. Bowline Hotel weddings take place on either a dock on the Columbia River, or in a private indoor space also overlooking the river.

The Shelburne Hotel is located in Seaview, Washington. Ceremonies at the Shelburne may be held outside in the garden, or inside in the historic parlor, or cozy lounge area.

The Adrift Hotel sits right in Long Beach, Washington — with oceanfront access. Adrift Affair wedding packages are held in a variety of stunning spaces, including the top-floor Pickled Fish restaurant, the ground-floor Gather space and patio, and — weather and availability permitting — directly on the beach or on the famous Boardwalk. We will always do our best to accommodate your preferred space.

Each venue has its own character, from the nautical warmth of the Bowline to the Victorian history of the Shelburne.
