Weddinglandia offers a seamless, all-inclusive micro wedding chapel experience, ensuring couples enjoy an elegant and hassle-free celebration.

OUR CHAPEL

The Weddinglandia Chapel is located in the heart of the St. Johns neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Our small but mighty ~1,000 square foot space has been intentionally designed to include everything you need – and nothing you don’t. The indoor space allows for couples to get married no matter what weather awaits outside, and on warmer days, a garage door can open for open-air nuptials. Check out photos here.

OUR WHY

In January 2006, a freshman high school student (Jasmine) turned in an assignment titled “The Path of a Wedding Planner.” She even added it to her portfolio of work required to graduate. In September 2013, two recent college graduates (Jasmine and Zach) met when they were placed into the same AmeriCorps program at Habitat for Humanity. Realizing they needed money to secure financial stability, they went their separate ways to continue their respective careers.

In 2018, Jasmine and Zach began their romantic relationship and were engaged by August 2019. Armed with Jasmine’s lifelong love for weddings and a joint refusal to spend money they didn’t have, they were wed in a stunning micro wedding on Oct. 9, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, just 18 guests were in attendance (spoiler alert: it was perfect).

18 years after that assignment and nearly four years after their perfect (tiny) big day, we’ve launched Weddinglandia to create a much needed space in the world of matrimony. Our vision is to redefine the wedding landscape by stripping away the excess and focusing on what’s important: love.
