What if I have more than 20 guests?
We keep our limit to 20 guests to ensure the intimate experience of Weddinglandia is provided to every couple that walks down our aisle.
Where is the chapel located?
We’re nestled right in the heart of the St. Johns neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. Our chapel is conveniently located at 7419 N. Burlington Avenue, Portland, OR 97203.
Are there any restaurants or activities near by?
YES! St. Johns is a bustling neighborhood featuring some of the best food, fun and shopping in PDX. Give any of these folks a call and let them know you’re getting married at the chapel to see if they can accommodate your group. All locations below are within walking distance of the chapel:

Is there somewhere to change at the chapel?
We have a bathroom available downstairs at the chapel for quick changes, but overall we recommend arriving as dressed as possible to maximize time. Our Rose City Radiance package includes pre-ceremony access to our bridal lounge to get ready.
How far in advance do we need to book our wedding?
All wedding packages must be booked at least 10 days in advance. On average, weddings are booked about two months in advance. If you have a last-minute need for a Courthouse wedding, please email us at hello@weddinglandia.com and we will do what we can to help!
Can we take a tour of the chapel?
Feel free to take a look at the chapel via our front door window; please be mindful if there is a wedding actively happening. Contact us with any further questions.
Can we bring our own officiant?
We welcome outside officiants so long as they are ordained and able to complete a legal marriage. We do not charge any fees to bring in external vendors, including officiants.
How does live streaming work?
Live streams are available for all packages for an additional $75 fee; this fee is waived and live streams are included with the Rose City Radiance package.
You will receive a custom link to share with virtual guests. The platform also includes a virtual guest book function. We will provide a digital download of your live stream ceremony within 24 hours of your wedding day.
All packages come with an optional complimentary recording.
Is there an age limit for getting married at Weddinglandia?
Couples seeking a legal marriage at Weddinglandia must be age 18 or older on the day of their ceremony, no exceptions.
Do you offer LGBTQIA+ weddings?
Love is love, y’all. We welcome couples of all backgrounds and orientations. Are you a polyamorous team seeking to host a commitment ceremony? We got you and, as a bonus, you don’t have to do the silly little government paperwork of a traditional legal wedding 😉 If you have more questions, just ask!
Is there dedicated parking available?
We do not have a dedicated lot, but there is plenty of FREE street parking available in St. Johns. The parking directly in front of the chapel currently has a 60 minute time limit, however this works great as our packages also cap at 60 minutes!
What language are the ceremonies in?
All ceremonies are in English. Couples may bring up to two interpreters to their ceremony.
How much does it cost to get married at Weddinglandia?
As of Jan. 1, 2026, our packages range in price from $350 to $1950.
How do I get a marriage license?
Couples wishing to obtain legal marriages at Weddinglandia must apply for a marriage license at any county clerk’s office in the state of Oregon. Licenses may secured three days in advance, and same-day licenses may be available depending on timing and courthouse availability. After your ceremony, we will complete the paperwork needed to make your marriage legal.
What time should we arrive?
The Courthouse + Short and Sweet: We’ll greet you at the exact time your ceremony is scheduled for, complete the ceremony, get all signatures, capture any photos, and you will be on your way in 30 minutes!
Rose City Radiance: We’ll greet the couple at chapel doors 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. Only the couple and anyone going into the lounge with them will be permitted at that time. All other guests will be welcomed into the chapel at the start time.
Do I need a marriage license for a vow renewal or commitment ceremony?
No paperwork needed for these pure (albeit non-legal) celebrations of love!
Are ceremonies religious?
Our weddings and ceremonies are non-religious/secular. You are welcome to read your own vows or use our own standard vows.

What are the flowers like?
For our packages that include fresh flowers, you can expect our signature bouquet and boutonnière made with fresh white blooms. We go with what is available, but our typical recipe includes hydrangeas, roses, spray roses, St. John’s wort, baby’s breath, and greenery for a soft finish.
If you have a dream bouquet or boutonnière in mind, there’s a ton of extremely talented local florists in PDX who can help. And we never charge for using outside vendors! Send us a note or check out the vendor page for recommendations.
Is complimentary photography really included with every package?
Yes, complimentary photography is included with all packages. These photos are meant to document the experience rather than provide fully customized wedding photography. We capture key moments, apply our signature vintage-inspired Weddinglandia edit, and deliver photos (and video, if applicable) within 1-3 days after your wedding.
If photography is a high priority for you or you have specific shots in mind, we strongly recommend hiring a professional wedding photographer. Our complimentary photos are best for couples who are on a budget or who are not especially focused on having highly curated wedding photos. Outside photographers are always welcome at our chapel.
